While there are various levels of javascript needed for any website, I agree that to be effective in any language it&#039;s good to know the tools available and learn from those who are already experts. I promote the javascript framework Mootools (http://mootools.net/) because I find that development community to be very bright and have a true understanding of javascript and how to write it &quot;appropriately.&quot; Effects provided by javascript are no doubt neat, but it can be so much more than just simple effects - for example, see the server-side nodejs (http://nodejs.org/) library.
